Though their Linemen are the cheapest of all the Elf teams but they do have low armour, so you don’t want to get involved in a brawl. Backed up by the ruthless Witch Elves and dangerous assassins, a Dark Elf team has all the tools to power through. Dark Elf teams prefer a malevolent and spiteful running game over the passing of their goodly cousins. The bad news is the Blitzers and Catchers aren’t cheap and will get targeted. 'Evil beyond belief, skilled without doubt, the Dark Elves take to the pitch to show the world their superiority. The Black Orcs have been renamed as Big Un Blockers, gained an extra square of movement and had a price increase. They were one of the strongest starting teams under the old rules so this will make things a little tougher when it comes to picking your starting lineup. The Throwers have had a slight price reduction. Lizardmen teams have gained a new player in the form of a Chameleon Skink and the price has gone up on both the Saurus and the Rerolls. The Blitzers are also good and have a nice starting combination of skills which make them great at harassing the opposing ball carrier. Orc teams have always had relatively affordable players, though they have undergone some tweaks in Blood Bowl Second Season. They don’t suffer from the low strength that other players of their type have. Troll related waffling: they are a big stupid roadblock who needs to be baby sat or a Gobbo eating/ throwing. 4 rerolls is really the max as well, a lot of players think 3 is plenty. They're Mv5 Av8, awful stats, poor squishy Orcs. The Catchers are also really good at getting interceptions if you place them well and this can help force the other team to play the ball where you would prefer. A lot of Orc teams do away with the thrower after a while, and I haven't ever seen running with 2 as a good idea. ![]() Their ability to catch a ball in heavy traffic makes the team very hard to defend against. They are by far the best Catcher in the game, being fast, average strength and starting with Nerves Of Steel. Their biggest feather in their cap is their Catchers. QTYĮlf teams are the cheapest of the four elven races that are available to play. Sporting facemasks and mohawks, they take to the pitch to relive the glory days they once played in. Those teams that have survived the fallout are not as rich as the High Elf teams nor as well equipped, but they sure know how to play the game. When the NAF collapsed, many Elven teams were left penniless. ![]()
