His silly jokes and stories of years passed, that won over the hearts of many, will be missed. He wore many hats and each hat he served as a leader, teacher, friend and colleague. Morris did not stop there, regionally and nationally, he took on this leadership role through organizations that would require his knowledge and input to help harbour authorities reach their success, and so he did. His aim was to ensure that under his leadership, there would be success, and so there was. In 1996, Morris started his role as the president of the Harbour Authority in Burin. Mother and father-in-law John and Audrey Hewitt. Predeceased by his parents Job and Blanche Fudge, brothers Leonard and Thomas Fudge, sisters Jessie Labour, Anne Planke, baby Maxine and Annie Frampton. Morris will be forever missed by his lapdog Duke. Special mention to a lifelong friend Jack Brown, also a large circle of nephews, nieces, family and friends. Brother-in-law Ross Hewitt, Gordon (Diane) Hewitt and sister-in-law Lorna Ricketts (Terry). His brothers Harry Joe Fudge (Verna), Lester Fudge (Mary), Eugene Fudge (Leslie) and Calvin Dibbon. His sisters Maxine Antle (Jimmy) and Angela Taylor (Wayne). His pride and joy, his only great-grandchild Kylie Fudge of Grand Bank. Grand-daughters Tara Fudge of Grand Bank, Chantelle (Paddy) of Burin, grand-sons Kaidan and Nathan Denty of High Prairie, AB. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Sybil of 52 years, daughters Michelle Fudge (Enos) of Burin, Dawn Hickman (Gerard) of Burin, Lori Denty (Mike) of High Prairie, AB, son Shane Fudge of Burin. It is with great sadness the family of the late Morris Fudge announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Sunday March 6th, 2022.
